Bulgaria needs 5 billion euros for joint infrastructure with Western Balkans

Bulgarian Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski has said that five billion euros were needed for building joint infrastructure with Western Balkan countries by 2030.

A discussion between transport ministers of Western Balkan countries, accompanying yesterday's summit meeting in Sofia, ended with the conclusion that construction of trans-European corridors in the region should be accelerated.

The European Commission has reaffirmed that it will provide Bulgaria with 1 billion euros for infrastructure projects by 2020.
