Minister Biser Petkov: Over 165,000 young people have started work over the past four years

Over 165,000 young people up to the age of 29 have started work with the support of recruitment agents at labour offices over the past four years. Over the same period youth unemployment (15-24 year olds) has almost been reduced by half. In 2013 it stood at 28.4 percent, and in 2017 – at 13.5 percent which is below the EU average, said Minister of Labour and Social Policy Biser Petkov at the opening of the second edition of a career forum organized by the University for National and World Economy, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has announced.
