12 million euros allocated for 235 Bulgarian-Serbian projects

More than 12 million euros will be invested for increasing tourist flow, creating a cross-border tourist product, preserving nature, managing risks, and acquiring new skills and entrepreneurship in the cross-border region between Bulgaria and Serbia.

These are funds under the Second Call for project proposals under the Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Bulgaria-Serbia 2014-2020 Programme.

Some 235 project proposals have been submitted so far and they  need to pass through two evaluation stages, it was reported.
