Sofia and Abu Dhabi discuss legal cooperation

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva met in Abu Dhabi with Minister of Justice Sultan Saeed Al Badi and they agreed on preparing a draft agreement on legal cooperation between Bulgaria and the United Arab Emirates.

The document should provide for the possibility of extradition of sentenced citizens or those charged over a crime.

Minister Zaharieva discussed with the Minister of Infrastructure Development Abdullah Al Nuaimi opportunities for cooperation in the sphere of renewable energy sources and participation of Bulgarian companies in the implementation of major infrastructure projects in the UAE.
