Bulgaria’s Ministry of Finance lifts 2018 economic forecast

According to the spring macroeconomic forecast of the Bulgarian Ministry of Finance, thе country’s economy will grow with 3.9% in 2018. Last year the Finance Ministry was forecasting that the Bulgarian economy will grow with 3.6% in 2018. The economic growth will be mainly driven by local demand. The development of the external environment, the international price dynamics and the unfavorable demographic trends in Bulgaria may pose a risk to the fulfillment of that forecast, Bulgaria's Ministry of Finance informs.
