Defense Minister Karakachanov takes part in multilateral military-political meeting

Bulgarian Defense Minister Krassimir Karakachanov pays visit to Bucharest today for a meeting of the defense ministers of nine countries - Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary.

Participants will be coordinating positions on NATO agenda topics. Meetings in this format so far have taken place at the level of Heads of State and Government in Warsaw in July 2014 and in Bucharest in November 2015, as well as at the level of  Foreign Ministers in November 2016 in Bucharest and October 2017 in Warsaw.
