President Rumen Radev and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed, in Sofia, the prospects of bilateral investment cooperation.
The two discussed projects of mutual interest in agriculture, transport infrastructure, power generation, science and education, sports. The Bulgarian side expressed an interest in Qatar’s experience in the construction of intermodal ports and in attracting investments for the construction and development of infrastructures which are part of the European transport corridors. President Radev assured his counterpart that during its Presidency of the Council of the EU, Bulgaria will continue to support international initiatives for fostering cooperation and political dialogue aimed at stabilization in the Persian Gulf.
