Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, EU and US officials discuss fight against terrorism

Counter-terrorism and fighting radicalism, migration cooperation, border security and visa issues, cyber security and electronic evidence, personal data protection, combating money laundering and stopping terrorist financing were all topics of discussion at a high-level meeting of EU and US officials in Sofia.

The forum took place within the framework of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of EU and provided an opportunity for an exchange of views in order to prepare for the upcoming ministerial meeting between the EU and US in the sphere of justice and home affairs, which is to be held in May, once again in Sofia.
