Weather conditions continue difficult in Bulgaria

A yellow code alert is in place in place in 27 out the 28 districts of Bulgaria over expected low temperatures.

During the first half of the day the snow will stop across most of the country, but in the afternoon will start again and will intensify by evening. The Road Infrastructure Agency advice not to travel unless absolutely necessary remains valid.

Dozens of schools are closed today and tomorrow as students are unable to reach the school buildings. Over the next three days Mediterranean and Atlantic cyclones will pass over the country, bringing temperatures down to 15, 20 degrees C below zero.
