Nikolina Angelkova: 2017 is successful for Bulgaria’s tourism

Bulgaria’s tourism sector has had a very successful year and is expecting a successful winter tourist season, Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova told the Bulgarian National Radio. The main purpose of the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism is to make this country a year-round tourist destination, Minister Angelkova pointed out. In Minister Angelkova’s view, Bulgaria has the exceptional opportunity to advertise itself as wonderful tourist destination during the forthcoming Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. In 2017 cultural tourism in the Bulgarian towns and cities has increased between 20% and 35%, Minister Angelkova further said.
