The murder attempt against the Bulgarian tax officer Ivo Stamenov is not linked with his personal life. It was linked with his duties at work which were fulfilled conscientiously, Bulgaria’s Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov told journalists after the meeting with Premier Boyko Borissov. Bulgaria’s Minister of Interior Valentin Radev and the chairmen of the National Revenue Agency and the National Customs Agency also attended the meeting. Sotir Tsatsarov categorically said that “the state will respond very strongly to this impudent and ostentatious assault”.
