Traffic restrictions for heavy duty trucks imposed nationwide

Due to the snowfall, traffic for heavy duty trucks (over 12 tons) is restricted along the Troyan-Kurnare road.

No restrictions are in place for the passes Aitos, Kotel, Obzor, Pechinsko, Prevala, Rozhen and the Pass of the Republic.

Restrictions are in place for heavy duty trucks (over 10 tons) for the passes Vratnik and Tvurdishki.

Passage is prohibited for trucks of over 3.5 tons through the passes Dyulino and Pamporovo.

Restrictions are in place for heavy duty trucks (over 12 tons) for the passes Petrohan and Shipka.

The 27 regional road departments and winter service companies are working around the clock and are on standby to keep roads snow free. The Road Infrastructure Agency warns that more snow is expected and drivers are advised to exercise caution.
