A four-member team of Bulgarian army medics has once again left for Mali, where, in the capital Bamako, they will be working at the headquarters of the EU mission in Mali which trains and advises the country’s armed forces.

This is the 16th rotation since 2013. Bulgaria’s army medics have been taking part in humanitarian and peacekeeping missions abroad for over a century. Besides at hot spots around the world, they are in constant readiness to assist people in need in peacetime, in the event of natural calamities, industrial accidents, terrorist acts etc.
