Dynamic situation in Europe favors Western Balkan countries advancement

Against the background of political conflicts in Europe, cooperation which is central to the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union is strongly appreciated.

This is the view of political scientist Prof. Anna Krasteva expressed in an interview for Focus Radio. She also specified that one of the big paradoxes of the outgoing year had been the generation of conflicts in EU in the least probable places that had previously been the pillars of stability.

The dynamic and unclear situation in the Bloc however creates a favorable climate for the advancement of the countries in the Western Balkans, Prof. Krasteva believes.
