Nearly 2,500 Bulgarian companies are currently doing business in Romania and their number is expected to increase, Deputy Director of the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency Rumiana Tsakanska announced at a Bulgarian-Romanian Business Forum held in Sofia. It is Bulgaria’s 3rd biggest export partner in the EU after Germany and Italy and Bulgaria’s 4th biggest world trade partner after Germany, Italy and Turkey. The annual trade between Bulgaria and Romania exceeds EUR 4 billion, Lubomir Ganchev, advisor of the Bulgarian Minister of Economy announced.
