Bulgaria is firm about the need for institutional measures at European level to effectively fight crimes affecting EU's financial interests.

This was what Bulgarian Minister of Justice Tsetska Tsacheva said in Luxembourg during the debate in the EU Justice and Home Affairs Council on the formal adoption of regulations, establishing a European Public Prosecutor's Office.

Ms. Tsacheva pointed out that under her presidency, Bulgaria would be working on organizing the institution and building relations with non-participating Member States, as well as with partner institutions and services, including Eurojust and OLAF.
