The cabinets of Bulgaria and Romania discussed topics of mutual interest in the economy and infrastructure fields during today’s intergovernmental sitting held in the coastal city of Varna. Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov forecasted that traffic between the two countries will intensify through the construction of new bridges over the Danube, new ferryboat lines, border checkpoints and through better conditions for navigation along the Danube.

Referring to hard work on energy supply diversification, Premier Borissov pointed out and added that the construction of the new Balkan gas hub is a key element in that strategy.

Romania’s Premier Mihai Tudose described the intergovernmental meeting in Varna as very useful and voiced readiness to continue with those meetings on a regular basis.
