Prime Minister Borissov holds talks with Donald Tusk

At a meeting in Estonia with President of the European Council Donald Tusk, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said Bulgaria did not pose a threat to the Eurozone and it is worth of becoming part of the ERM II mechanism, also known as the Eurozone waiting room. The Prime Minister pointed out that Bulgaria was third in the EU after Estonia and Luxembourg when it came to the low government debt as a relative share of GDP. Donald Tusk expressed full support for Bulgaria's priorities and vowed that Sofia could rely on him during its EU presidency EU presidency and in its efforts to enter the Eurozone waiting room.
