During its visit to the Republic of Korea, a Bulgarian parliamentary delegation, led by National Assembly President Dimitar Glavchev, paid a visit to the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, where the Bulgarian language is also being taught to students.

Mr. Glavchev thanked the lecturers for being ambassadors of Bulgaria and its culture to the Republic of Korea.

Professor Jae Hoon Choi, lecturer in Politics and Economics of Bulgaria, pointed out at the meeting that Bulgarian studies at the university were established 12 years ago and more than 150 Korean students have already passed training in Bulgaria. He expressed confidence that the alumni of the department would become a strong bridge linking the two countries.
