Slogan of Bulgarian Presidency of Council of EU to be "Unity Makes Strength"

The slogan of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU will be "Unity Makes Strength," which is also written on the building of the Bulgarian National Assembly. This was announced by the Minister responsible for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2018, Liliana Pavlova.

"We believe the motto is equally relevant not only for Europe but also for what is one of the main priorities of the Bulgarian presidency - standing united in Europe; with a special priority focus on the Western Balkans and their European perspective," she said.

A summit meeting at the level of Presidents and Prime Ministers of EU Member States and Balkan countries is scheduled for early May 2018, it has become clear from the speech of Liliana Pavlova.
