Daniel Ivanov-Aoiyama continues with his winning streak at the July sumo tournament in Nagoya after winning versus maegashira Takekadze one day before the end of the tournament.

This means he still has a shot at the cup, after improving his balance to 12 victories and 2 losses,  just one victory behind grand champion Hakuho who defeated Ozeki Goeido.

On Sunday Daniel Ivanov will face Komusubi Yoshikaze in a match from the last round of the tournament.
