These majors are also the most preferred among European students - nearly 25 percent of 5 million students have chosen to study them, according to European statistics. At second place among the most preferred majors in this country come social sciences, information technologies and journalism - about 16% of 60 000 graduates. The third position is occupied by engineering, production and architecture - 14%. About 7% of the graduates chose to study medicine, and some 8% focused on the sphere of education. The percentage of graduates who chose majors in the field of agrarian sciences and veterinary medicine was the smallest - just 1.7%.
