In Podgorica, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has discussed with his Montenegrin counterpart Filip Vujanović the prospects of deepening bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of economy, infrastructure, security and priority policies in the region.
During the meeting it was pointed out that that the most important precondition for stability and security in the Western Balkans was the completion of the EU integration of the countries in the region. President Radev said that Bulgaria was to continue to support the process of Montenegro's European integration and Vujanović expressed gratitude for Bulgaria's long-standing support for the EU and Euro-Atlantic integration of his country.
In Podgorica, President Radev also met with Prime Minister Duško Marković and the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Ivan Brajović. During the talks, the Bulgarian head of state pointed out that the consistent pro-European policy of Montenegro was an example to all of the Western Balkan countries.
