The countries from the Visegrad Group (the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland) together with Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia share common position about the future agricultural policy of the EU. The farmers from those countries support the idea that the current schemes and financial measures should be kept, yet the administrative procedures should be alleviated. It became clear during the conference in Sofia named Challenges before the EU Common Agricultural Policy in the Context of the New Financial Perspective 2021-2027. The countries voiced their support for a strong common agricultural policy that guarantees equal conditions of competition on the single market and encourages profitability and competitiveness of the EU agriculture.
