President Rumen Radev met with representatives of the Bulgarian Association of Information Technologies (BAIT) at the presidency today to discuss the prospects of the digital transformation of the administration, the building of an information society in this country, cybersecurity and the development of the Bulgarian information industry.
The Bulgarian President stated his support for the initiatives facilitating and expediting the digital transformation of the Bulgarian administration in the interest of the public and businesses.
“E-government is a strategic priority for Bulgaria. It is an irreversible process and a proven method of attaining efficiency, transparency, success in the fight against corruption, accountability and control,” President Radev said.
