Sofia supports ILO's Green Initiative

At the 106th session of the International Labor Conference in Geneva, Switzerland, Bulgarian Minister of Labor and Social Policy Biser Petkov said that Bulgaria supported the organization's "Green Initiative" because it saw the fight against climate change as an integral part of social justice.

Achieving a comprehensive agreement to tackle climate change is essential for achieving sustainable development, opening up new opportunities for business and jobs, stimulating investment and innovation, enhancing involvement and multilateral cooperation, Minister Petkov added.
