Menda Stoyanova: Bulgaria does not need to borrow new loans

The EUR 100 million loan agreed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development can be taken if the country receives co-financing from the EU funds as well, GERB MP and Chairperson of the National Assembly Budget and Finance Committee Menda Stoyanova announced on Sunday in response to the statement of the Bulgarian Socialist Party that the cabinet has taken a loan worth EUR 100 million and was about to take new loans to the tune of EUR 3 billion. Stoyanova also points out that according to the three-year budget plan, the country's budget deficit has to be reduced by 2020. That is why Bulgaria does not have to borrow new loans, Menda Stoyanova went on to say.
