Prime Minister Borissov holds talks with German President Steinmeier

At a meeting in Berlin, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borissov announced deepening of bilateral relations.

The Bulgarian Prime Minister thanked for the solidarity support that Germany has given to Bulgaria in the EU and NATO and put a special stress on Bulgaria's efforts to enter the Eurozone waiting room and to join Schengen. In the discussions with President Steinmeier, Borissov stressed that the development of bilateral relations in the spirit of traditional friendship and shared European values ​​also contributes to building a strong, stable, prosperous and united Europe.

In Germany the Bulgarian Prime Minister is also to have talks with Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel.
