President Radev meets with Nobel Prize laureate Professor Dan Shechtman

Bulgaria will try to deepen its relations with Israel in education, innovations, technological sector and agriculture, President Rumen Radev said. President Radev met in Sofia with Professor Dan Shechtman who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2011. I would like to thank you for coming to Bulgaria to inspire the young Bulgarians to strive to new researches in science, Bulgaria’s head of state Rumen Radev further said. Professor Dan Shechtman said in return that high-quality education helps generations build a successful economy. Professor Shechtman has arrived in Bulgaria to share his view about the contribution of innovations and entrepreneurship in technological sphere to peace and prosperity.
