Four Bulgarian students won one silver medal and three bronze ones at the 51st edition of the Mendeleev Olympiad in Chemistry in Astana, Kazakhstan. All four are leaders at the National Olympiad in Chemistry and Environmental Protection. Bulgaria has been participating in the Mendeleev Olympiad in Chemistry since 2004.
