President Radev sends condolences to Queen Elizabeth II

In a letter of condolence to Her Majesty Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland following yesterday’s terrorist act in London, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev extends deepest sympathy to the families and friends of the people who lost their lives and wishes for a swift recovery to the casualties.

“Such an act of hatred and violence is utterly inadmissible. Bulgaria emphatically and strongly condemns this attack on the very foundations of morality and humanity,” reads the letter by the president. The Bulgarian head of state emphasizes further that this shocking act reveals the need of unity and determination in the fight against terror, for building a safer and peaceful world.
