Bulgaria should buy vaccines for a period of three years: Ministry of Health

Bulgaria should buy vaccines for a period of three years, rather than for one year only, the latest proposal of the country’s Ministry of Health reads. The ministry uploaded a project for public discussion on its official website. The main purpose of the amendments is to guarantee the right and the access of the citizens to prophylaxis, the motifs of caretaker Minister of Health Ilko Semerdzhiev read. According to one of the proposals of that project, seventeen year-old Bulgarians should not be subject to re-vaccination against tuberculosis.
