President Radev and Vice President Yotova lay wreath at Monument to the Unknown Soldier

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev and the country’s Vice President Ilyana Yotova laid wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Sofia on occasion of the 139th anniversary of Bulgaria’s National Liberation. The Bulgarian national flag was hoisted in the presence of hundreds of Bulgarians. Bulgarian Patriarch Neophyte, caretaker Minister of Defense Stefan Yanev, Bulgaria’s Ombudsman Maya Manolova, Grand Mufti Mustafa Hadji, ministers and politicians also attended the ceremony. Earlier, a church service was served at Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. The culmination of the festive celebrations is on Friday evening in front of the National Assembly where President Radev is to deliver a speech on occasion of the Day of National Liberation.
