World leaders greet President Radev on occasion of Day of National Liberation

The US President Donald Trump, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Palestine head of state Mahmud Abbas, Pakistan’s President Mamnoon Hussain , Pope Francis and King Philippe of Belgium greeted Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev on occasion of the Day of National Liberation March 3, the press center of the Bulgarian head of state announced, Focus news agency informs. Together with the people of America I am sending the most sincere wishes to Bulgaria and the Bulgarian people on occasion of the anniversary of your national liberation, the letter of US President Trump reads. The USA and Bulgaria share common values of security, democracy and peace. We boost our bilateral relations though mutual dialogue and remind each other about our common values which are in the bottom of our partnership,  Today we mark the National Liberation Day of a NATO ally and a country which is an active member of the transatlantic  alliance and a close friend, President Donald Trump wrote to President Radev.

Please, accept my sincere greetings on occasion of Bulgaria’s National Holiday-the Liberation of the country from the Ottoman Rule. This holiday reminds us of the glorious feat of the Bulgarian volunteers and the Russian soldiers who fought side by side and gave their lives for the independence of Bulgaria, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin wrote to his Bulgarian counterpart Rumen Radev. I believe that the century-old friendship between our nations which was steeled in the years of hardships will remain a reliable fundament for constructive development of the Bulgarian-Russian relations. I would like to wish you and all Bulgarians sound health, good luck and prosperity, President Putin further wrote in his greeting.
