A representative team of the Bulgarian army is in the city of Sochi, Russia, to take part in the Winter Military World Games that take place there in the period February 22 – 28. The games are organised by the International Council for Military Sports (CISM). Bulgarians will compete in four disciplines - biathlon, cross country skiing, ski orienteering and slalom. For the first time Bulgarian biathlon competitors take part in the games. This season they finished first and second at the European Championship in Poland.
