After a series of accidents in the central heating network of Sofia that started on Saturday last week, thousands of residents of the Bulgarian capital city remain without heating and hot water.
Sources from the Sofia Municipal Council said heating will be on as early as Friday afternoon. Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova announced that she would signal the prosecution over the case, in order to clarify the causes of the accident.
The municipality has already commissioned independent experts from the Technical University to check the reasons for the failure of the system, it was reported.
