Permanent and stable Wi-Fi connection has been established between the Bulgarian Antarctic base of "St. Kliment Ohridski" and the neighboring Spanish base "Juan Carlos I." This was announced by professor Hristo Pimpirev, Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute. The two bases situated on the Livingston Island are about 5 kilometers apart.

The ongoing 25-th Bulgarian Antarctic expedition includes a total of 32 scientists and the first group of them departed to the icy continent in November.
