At special briefing representatives of the Road Infrastructure Agency and the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior warned that Bulgaria will be hit by heavy snowfalls, freezing temperatures and strong westerly winds on Thursday night. Bulgaria’s Police called on the citizens to refrain from travelling across the country, if unnecessary. The situation will be worst in Northeastern Bulgarian. Over 3,000 snow-cleaning machines are ready to clean the roads in Bulgaria. Some sections of the republican road network will be closed for maintenance during the nights.
