Representatives of GERB and the Reformist Bloc hold discussions today over the realization of the mandate for forming a new government in the current Parliament, as the mandate was given to the reformers by President Rosen Plevneliev. The one-week deadline for forming a cabinet comes tomorrow. GERB and BSP have already received and returned the mandate to the president. According to the Constitution, if the third mandate is rejected and returned the president should appoint a caretaker government and after stepping in office in late January his successor Rumen Radev should dissolve the parliament and set a date for early elections.
