Europe is aware that the border between Bulgaria and Turkey is hardly controllable, and has concentrated its forces on Serbia’s border, former defense minister Boyko Noev said in an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio. “We should no longer protect the European border this way, because migration pressure will grow”, he argued.
