Incomes and household spending in Bulgaria mark rise

The total average income per Bulgarian household in the third quarter of 2016 is 670 euros and increased by 3.7% compared to the same quarter of 2015. In the structure of total income, salaries  come first(54.1%), followed by income from pensions (28.3%), self-employment (6.5%) and social benefits (3.2%). The total spending per household in the third quarter of 2016 is 625 euros monthly, which shows a rise by 4.7%. In the structure of total costs food has the largest share (31.6 percent), followed by housing (16.7%), taxes and social security taxes (11.6%), and transport and communications (10.8%).
