Rumen Radev supported by the Bulgarian Socialist Party earned 25.45% (973,408) of the votes at the first round of the Presidential elections, official data of the Central Election Commission show. GERB candidate Tsetska Tsacheva earned 21.97%(840,396) of the votes. 5.52% (210,980) of the Bulgarian citizens who cast their votes chose the option “I support none of the candidates”. The results of the national referendum can’t be binding, because the turnout is 13,000 below the threshold of 3,5 million votes ( the figure from the previous Parliamentary elections).
