Bulgaria’s road haulage workers launch nationwide protest

Bulgarian road haulage workers launched on Monday morning a nationwide protest at the main border checkpoints in that country against what they described as “inhumane” conditions of waiting up to 40-50 hours to cross the border checkpoints. Moreover, the state institutions do not provide any explanation, the truck drivers explain. The Bulgarian Association for Freight Forwarding, Transport and Logistics warned that the situation brings huge losses to the national economy and called on the state authorities to undertake all necessary measures to solve that problem permanently.
