An analysis of Eurostat quoted by BTA reads that more than half of Bulgarians aged between 15 and 29 years have been living in poor housing conditions. European standards require every young person over 15 years to have a private room. The best living conditions enjoy young people in Belgium, the Netherlands and Finland, and the most severe are housing conditions in Romania, statistics show. According to national statistics, young people aged 15 - 29 in Bulgaria are one-seventh of the population. In 2015 at the backdrop of a population of 7 million and 200 thousand people, there were a total of 3,900,000 homes. About 30 percent of these are three-room flats.
