The Bulgarian Ministry of Interior has reported that migration pressure on Bulgaria has been growing. The number of migrants from Afghanistan has been rising and they are more than 60 percent of the total number of foreigners who entered the country illegally. Since the beginning of 2016, the number of detained migrants in Bulgaria has reached nearly 16,000 people.
