Premier Borissov: Russia and USA must negotiate the name of the next UN Secretary General

The big countries make their decisions carefully, Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov said with regard to his cabinet’s decision to nominate Kristalina Georgieva for UN Secretary General. Finally, Russia and the USA must sit down and decide on the candidatures for UN top job. We must realize that and stop thinking that the names of the nominees are of extreme significance, Premier Borissov further said. With regard to his latest phone conversation with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin Premier Borissov pointed out that President Putin was extremely well-intentioned after the whole criticism shown towards Bulgaria in the past twelve months, especially by Russia’s Foreign Minister Lavrov.
