Bulgarian students win young scientists award in Brussels

11th grade students from the Dr. Petar Beron secondary school of mathematics in Varna won an award at the European Union Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS) in Brussels. Ivan Ivanov and Vassilen Tsvetkov won the Food and Agriculture Innovations prize for their high-tech project IntelligentPlanting. The EUCYS contest is an annual European Commission event that focuses on top achievements by school and university students under 20 in the sphere of science and technologies. Participants from almost 40 countries, including USA, Canada and the Republic of Korea took part in the contest.
