The Bulgarian head of state emphasized that deep inside Bulgarian statehood lie virtues like dignity, duty, patriotism. “None of them are for sale and none can be bought,” the Bulgarian President said.
“The proclamation of the independence of Bulgaria showed how the Bulgarian nation is capable of accomplishing a long and difficult undertaking that requires social unity, political accord in the country and skillful diplomacy. The fact that the whole of Bulgaria acclaims the audacity of the perceptive builders of our modern state, gives me faith in the future of our country,” said Prime Minister Boyko Borissov in his address.
