Responsibility for migration crisis is global, Bulgarian President says

In New York, during a UN summit dedicated to the issues of migrant and refugee flows, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev said that sharing responsibility globally for the management of migration and refugee flows was of vital importrance. Countries of origin, transit and destination must take joint action in a spirit of mutual support and solidarity. We must turn our attention to the root causes of migration; to find a lasting solution to the conflict and to combat violations of human rights and socio-economic difficulties, as well as the lack of good governance in the countries of origin, President Plevneliev added.
