Bulgaria would not accept migrants from EU without working readmission agreement with Turkey

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisosv has announced that during the talks between him and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, which took place in Berlin, he warned that a new wave of refugees was on the horizon and that Bulgaria would not accept migrants from Western Europe until there was a working readmission agreement with Turkey. According to Prime Minister Borissov, Turkey is well-intentioned and even though it cannot become an EU member right now, it could still get visa alleviations for businessmen. In return Turkey should continue implementing the commitments it has undertaken towards the EU.
